If you do want to keep in contact with him, then, it's a harder decision.

Cirtur, I know Oedipus is a pretty likable literary figure and a cool person, so that might seem like a good plan, but I see two flaws in it:

Oedipus would be less likable if:

A) Rather than being cursed by fate to kill his father and marry his mother, he went out of his way to do it.
B) He killed his father and married his mother knowing full well who they were.
