My dad, traditionally, drinks a lot of alcohol and does a lot of drugs, and occasionally goes on a bender where he drives drunk with my little brother and 26 guns in the car, and gets arrested while his wife tries to kill herself.

I think he wants his kids to do better than him.

There is nothing quite like the odd feeling of something moving in side of you to line up the perfect kick to your kidneys. Does working with children increase or decrease your urge for the whole nurturing post parasite stage?

Working with children increases my urge...and working with teenagers decreases it (even though I still like the teenagers, they are the most frustrating). But, I figure by the time my own offspring are teenagers, I will love them enough that them being annoying will be worth it.

Well plus with your own there's the whole chemical/hormonal changes that you go through to make you love them. You know, like you're dad does with you, probably the only reason teenagers live to become adults.

I think they should have a showdown and both get pregnant. Whoever gives birth first wins and that baby is the one that stays. Loser baby gets left in the dumpster and possibly is raised by rats/crackheads.
