I'm pretty sure the penguins where an introduced species on Pluto.

Re: Remember those gay penguins?
No but I was replying to http://www.smbc-comics.com/smbcforum/vi ... =15#p54159 because the penguins in Futurama where introduced, even though Rainbow implied they where not. Thus invasive. It didn't really matter why you brought them up.mountainmage wrote:http://www.smbc-comics.com/smbcforum/vi ... =15#p54167Kimra wrote:I'm pretty sure the penguins where an introduced species on Pluto.

I think my favorite part, even though it was minor, was when the man "over-gasped".

Question: Which do you think is better; Simpsons or Futurama?

I honestly enjoyed futurama far more, but Simpsons does have sheer age going for it.

That's like having the choice between a hot 20-something year old and a sixty year old and going... well the sixty year old has sheer age going for him/her.Asherian wrote:I honestly enjoyed futurama far more, but Simpsons does have sheer age going for it.

Re: Remember those gay penguins?
I would say that the best stand alone episode of the Simpson's is better than the best standalone episode of Futurama. But Futurama is more consistently good.

I like both, but if I had to pick, I'd go with Futurama.

Re: Remember those gay penguins?
The most significant thing that always comes to mind is that they started showing Futurama in a time when the Simpsons was starting to get worse (which has culminated to the point of about one good episode per season), and the main difference at that point was that Futurama was consistently funny, even up to when it was cancelled. Given the choice I'd probably watch Futurama, I guess, although I never object to Simpsons reruns.
