Avatar=phenomenal. Not just because of the special effects, but because it was just took storytelling back to it's roots. It didn't try to flip archetypes and try to blow your mind with plot twists. It just took a basic story, set it in a different place, and fucking blew it out of the water. It was fantastic.
The Road= I haven't seen but I want to so so so sososososososOSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOBAD.
The book is my favorite book right now. And Cormac Mcarthy is my favorite author. I can't wait to read everything of his.

Fucking sexy ass man. And he's got a big dick. Or at least he's a shower. I'm a grower, unfortunately. Wish I wasn't. I'd like to be able to walk around naked all the time.

Yeah the road is incredibly brutal and doesn't ever let up. It's fuckin great. I still need to read his other stuff but I've thumbed through some a bit and I LOVE IT GOD. I love the way he writes. It's the best.

I saw Avatar yesterday at the IMAX theatre, I lined up for an hour with the rest of my family but it was worth it cos we got awesome seats. It was mindblowingly amazing visually, and I really enjoyed the story though it was obviously borrowing a lot of components from different sources.
But yeah, overall great film.
