i don't think it stands for merchandise. Since all the other categories are months and this one comes right after february, I'm guessing he's talking about the month of Merch.Lethal Interjection wrote:Scroll down the page! It says Merch, and there has been no money brought in there!? I would totally buy some Hamster City merch!TwoBuy wrote:Edit: I just found this. Gotta spend money to make money...

febranuary is commonly observed as January 23rd through February 9th. In ancient times, the Gringesh peoples of Southern Gaul celebrated Febranuary as the "time of Semestarius". In more modern times, the God Semestarius has come to represent the half-way point in most university systems. This is why most universities on the Semester system (named after the god) begin their new semesters during the ancient celebration of Febranuary.your_face wrote:I failed to see this.Bugger me sidewise. These comics are only slightly worse than the more traditional example of a shitty webcomic.

I disagree. The art is much better, the writing isn't barely understandable ESL, and though it doesn't have colour, it does have a coherent script.Spruce Moose wrote:These comics are only slightly worse than the more traditional example of a shitty webcomic.
And that was after reading only a few strips. The early stuff, mostly, which actually had some marginally interesting banter and jokes and whatnot.
Hamster City is worlds worse than the one you linked to.

I found that if you replace "Roo" with "Ruo" in B&S strips, it's a lot more interesting.ruotwocone wrote:not sure how many people still read Boston and Shaun regularly, but um... wow
