We're staying with some friends near Isesaki City (a few hours northwest of Tokyo). Tomorrow, we're going to Kyoto, and on Monday, I'm giving a presentation at the Maizuru Fisheries Research Station and staying in Maizuru with my friend. Then we're coming back to Isesaki, and at some point we'll take a day trip to Tokyo and maybe a place a few hours up north (we have bullet train rail passes, so we're going to try to see as much as we can).

Being awesome has some perks, like not getting yelled at by Ed for posting novel things that I do on the SMBC forums, despite the fact that I otherwise rarely post here. Although, I have to say that I think Ed defines "awesome" as people who buy him food :D

EDIT: I will take pictures, and the presentation is in English.

I did a novel thing once. Then I forgot about it.

Have you seen any underwear vending machines yet? What about tentacle monsters wandering the streets?

I'm assuming that the tentacle monsters are displayed in shop windows, like the prostitutes are in Amsterdam.

Japanese word order is different. It's equivalent to saying "neglected shoe is" or "neglected shoe exists"
