It's been a damn good day, but a damn busy one, too. Sometimes I wish good news would come in little bites instead of giant chunks. Whenever I get really good news, I'm uselessly frazzled for an hour or two.

As I had hoped, 2009 is looking to be a very good year for SMBC. Despite the recession, business has been growing nicely, and I should have some super-keen announcements to make in the next few months. Woop!

Last weekend, Kelly and I went to see Wolverine (discussion here in the forum), which was pretty alarmingly bad, despite the satisfaction of seeing Ryan Reynolds die. However, if you are a fan of sexy men walking away from exploding buildings in slow motion, this may be your Casablanca.

I decided not to censor this one, since I think it'd ruin the joke. Enjoy the gratuitous swearing.

Also, the print buying feature is working again. If you see the little "BUY THIS PRINT!" button below a comic, that means you can order it. Right now, we have a "personalize" option, which basically means I'll write/draw whatever you like for a few extra bucks.

However, we'll probably be phasing this out in early June, since I don't really have time for it, and feel weird charging for extra scribbles. Mind you, I don't feel TOO weird, since I think I should be paid for the extra time it takes.

You'll still, of course, be able to get me to draw whatever you like at conventions. BUT, if you don't do cons and still want to make sure you get a print with some of my filthy scrawl on it, please order this month.

Speaking of which, I will definitely be at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Come see me!

Has anyone noticed that my dick jokes tend to come in packs? Kelly calls this "shoaling." Speaking of which, if you want a rundown on epigenetics, she's doing a multipart series.

Any military historians out there? I'm looking for books on or related to the Fugu Plan, and am having a hell of a time.

Hugs and kisses (because a guy on digg called my last post 'ghey')

Blarg! I've been cooped up at home getting some other projects done, but tomorrow I get to go back to MATH. Beloved math...

Hey nerds--

Looks like we've been getting some errors on some of the print sizes. Sit tight, and hopefully we'll have it fixed up tomorrow. At that point, you can buy to your hearts' content.
