The glasses and the hair color are kind of similar, but other than that, he looks like a frightening pedophile who like...keeps his victims in the freezer after he sexes and murders them.

I have no idea what Nova is. Australia likes to filter out all the unsuccessful shows so thatonly the [s]best[/s] crudest, most boring shows make it onto our screens.

It also has/had Nova. I haven't watched it in a long time.

PBS is the channel that showed Arthur to you guys and hence allowed me to watch it. Therefore I will hold it in high regard as one of the greatest channels ever.

We have one for Heart and Stroke every year, and I think one for that one with Miracle in the title (that I think Walmart is involved with somehow). Plus PBS drives. Plus one for any disaster that might occur (planes crashing into high-rises, cities being massively flooded, the ground shaking and doing a lot of damage on some island).

The last telethon I saw was the one in UHF. I guess I passed over them when they are on the government funded science-y station, but just ignored them because I don't care.

We have one every year over here. It's televised over a whole weekend and everything to raise funds for the local children's hospital, and essentially every local TV personality makes an appearance at some stage over the 48 hours.
