When you start playing dramatic soccer matches in a small world cup, you can freely choose your favorite countries such as USA, SHE, ITA, ARG....

The extra "votey" panels are an awesome part of SMBC, but they're not very discoverable by new users.

Whenever I link an SMBC to friends, or post it to some board/reddit, I have to remind everyone to "Click on the red button for an extra panel"--and that's kind of annoying. The votey quite often is an extra punchline (at least historically), and I think it would help a lot to allow random visitors to find the feature more easily. Heck, some of the best punchlines of SMBC are in the extra panel!

I'm not particularly good at UX design, but my basic implementation suggestion would be to have Click to reveal extra panel right below the comic or something. I think revealing on hover would be good as well, but that would have to be non-mobile only.
