i miss the older more simple (and funnier) comics
I've been reading SMBC for about 5 years now and i've noticed the gradual change of the tone of the comics, from short & simple, smart punch lines, to the present long-winded, existentialist/philosophical/multi-layered commentary that i find too complex to be entertaining.
What happened? i used to regularly share the comics to my friends online but i've found that there's no point anymore :S did something life-changing happen to zach to warrant this change in the nature of SMBC?
I hope I didn't sound too critical, i'm sure others would've felt the same way. I used to anticipate new additions to the comics but nowadays I'm hard-pressed to even read to the end of a tortuous page.

Oh no! You and SMBC have grown apart. You can no longer be friends. What will become of this tragic story now?

Well it could end the way I saw fit to end my relationship with SMBC.

No. I want this ending directed by Michael Bay.

I guess we could dress up in robot costumes and wrestle for Admin rights to the forum to a backdrop of the American Flag and various explosions. Would that be okay?

So you ended the relationship, but still continue to stalk? Sounds like what Facebook is primarily used for.Edminster wrote:Well it could end the way I saw fit to end my relationship with SMBC.

I miss having my parents pay for everything and it being socially acceptable.
