You wouldn't have lasted two minutes in the old days. We used to have to carry our old machines to a common location, get an IPX network working (this often required operating system reinstalls), get the games working on every machine, and then we got the honor of playing a buggy, high-latency video game that would crash halfway through and require us to start over. A normal Friday was 9 hours of setup to every 2 hours of gameplay.

The old days suck. Except when my days become the old days.

Hey, I haven't been on in a bit, and now the server isn't running. Is the team fortress thing still going on?

More like Team Fortress 2! Amirite? Anyone play? I'm thinking a server should be set up. Because there are obviously enough of us that play to warrant that.

Go buy it it's like US$29.95, so about half that in any other currency. CHEEAAAAPPP. Also apparently in Germany their not allowed to show violence in videogames, so when someone in the German version gets blown up, or shot, instead of blood and body parts, bunny and fluffy ducks and things fly out. I haven't seen this myself, but Tim and I are working on getting the mod/whatever. It would be the ultimate in awesome. I'll google it actually. Well nothing too helpful there, just a fairly bad screenshot. I was hoping for something better. Never mind!

wait, they kept making quakes after 2? Also, TF2 server would be pretty rad as i have made a considerable effort to spend as much of my time as possible getting caught on fire lately... god damn pyros, stupid shoot everybody... i'd stab them in the back if i wasn't so on fire.

Yeah. An SMBC TF2 server. That'd be swell. I'd probably buy the game if we had one of those.

I agree too. If smbc gets a server, i get the game. And i kick all of your butts. Or at the very least, i try to.

A TF2 server would be rad hardcore, but since only two of us actually play right now, and a further two might possibly get the game, a server might not be all that useful. However, add me on up to your steam friends, I'm Pregnaloons. So gimme a yell if you do and I'll search you out if my latency isn't too high to make playing imporsibarl.

I created a group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/smbc. Join up chums.

I don't have it set as 'public' currently because I wasn't sure what kind of spam users you get in steam. I'll approve anyone who applies though. Anyone from the forum should PM me with your username when you apply and I'll make you an admin (or whatever they're called).
