What always gets me is that, in some (or possibly most) cases, humans seem more concerned with passing down their individual culture than their individual genes. So, in reality, we're mules for our individual culture.
Time to piss off people with logic and facts!

Three issues with this day's comic.

Firstly:
http://www.smbc-comics.com/index.php?db ... 2105#comic
This was just published 4 months ago! Why reuse such a stupid and unfunny concept?

Secondly:
It advocates sterilization. Self-evident innit?

Thirdly, and most importantly:
Really, Zach, really? More miscegenation? You are the fuckin' stupidest bastard I've ever met.

You know what? If I see one more comic with race mixing in it I'm never going to read this comic again. Alternatively, if there is not at least one single-panel webcomic with <20 words in the next week, I'll quit. Whichever comes first. God, I really fuckin' hate you Zack. The comics are not funny anymore, they're just diatribes or rants (XKCD did this before you, Zach, and though it pains me to say it, that horrible pictoblog does it better than you); they lecture on and on with a minimum of a hundred words per comic; they are all anti-white; etc. I suspect it's because he's become a slave to his woman - a fate worse than death.

For comparison, see some actually funny SMBCs from bygone days:
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20060410.gif
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20030519-2.gif
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20070305.gif

Here are some recent, unfunny ones:
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20100802.gif
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20100919.gif
http://www.smbc-comics.com/comics/20110430.gif

I mean really. I compose at least half of Zach's fanbase by biomass and I can just as easily go back to reading A. Wyatt Mann as my only web comic.

It's a dark day when I laugh more at Roman's Response to a comic than the comic that provoked it.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

I thought it was different enough from that comic four months ago in that it takes a fairly different direction.

I disagree that those comics were unfunny, I found the hypocube joke hilarious, although I read it as if he were screaming in my mind and got a good chuckle from it. The others... Yes, I agree they are a bit preachy. Zach tended to avoid ever doing that. Social commentary is a valid method of joke delivery however. Much of comedy is either situational or observational, and social commentary fits both those categories. It was more of a witty delivery of an insightful observation than any real joke, but it was amusing nonetheless. Comedy is meant to be amusing, in my opinion, not necessarily funny. You can be quite serious while employing comedy.

Also, regarding the votey of the day, my reply is "GOD DAMMIT! I'm trying!"
Just like an std, will never fully go away.

I think you can apply the theory of evolution to other phenomena like culture and religion. If a culture doesn't teach its members to keep it going, then of course it's going to die off. Magic!

But it's not funny. It's oversaturated with words, like the subway I just ate is oversaturated with grease residues. It's just damn annoying. But what would a mahometan know of humor?

Don't bother updating the codex; he says he'll quit soon anyway.

But then he did somehow manage to come back from being banned, so who knows what's going on in this crazy world?

Ed's idea. I banned him for the fun of it, then Ed went and perma-banned him, then I told Ed "yeah I don't know why you waited so long," and then he says he's not really perma-banned, then I check and hey, he's not really perma-banned! Whatevs.

I love how people think they can discuss whether or not something is funny when sense of humour varies between individuals.

Heaven forbid people should discuss things they might disagree about!
