Yeah, I've had a problem with the extra comic thingy (I forgot the name of it...) getting overlapped by the banner. Sometimes its a lot worse than this, it just depends on the ad on the side.

Problem: Can't see votey.

Solution. Find the URL of the picture by right-clicking 'Properties'. Add 'after' before the '.gif' in the URL and Voila! Problem solved.

Still, it's a bitch to have to do that. Maybe the votey or the advert should switch sides.

If you're using firefox you can right click and select "view image". If you're using internet explorer you can drag it into your tabs (you can do this with firefox but it's just easier to use view image).

I had that earlier. It seems to be resolved for me now.

yeah, that happens to me a lot. I just do the firefox "view image" thing.

Thanks, I'll try that whenever I get that error. But it seems a bit of a pain for people to do this to view it, couldn't the votey be moved over to the left side of the page?

there is a patch out there for resolving this very issue...

Too bad the patch fixes the problem but winds up downgrading your browser.

Yeah the people who do the add rotators really need to embed their flash ads properly. If you use the property wmode="opaque" it will be treated like a regular page element and won't float over everything.
