It does suck when people only know you as the funny man. They get all surprised when I do cool things as well, like catching all the pokemon or singing to kelly clarkson.

I actually got more props for singing the pokemon theme song when all the seniors were gathered in the gym on the seats for the whole school. Three days of that, and I did some awesome stuff. Singing, lightsaber fighting, casting AVADA KEDAVRA curses all over the place, doing stand up, etc. Although the teacher wouldn't let me go into the crowd with the mic, so people just wanted their own turn rather than listening to me.

Funny thing. One side was cracking up, the other side was threatening me. I gave up the mic to go up to them and tell them about my ninja skills.

I remember my friends found out that I knew some Basshunter and they were shocked, 'cause I don't listen to popular music. Oh and that shit song by MIA, the one that everyone's heard. I know that one too. Basically what I discovered is that there is no pride in being "cool", 'cause then you have to listen to shitty music.
