I didn't say they didn't farm seafood, but they don't farm enough of it. We are taking more from the ocean than it can replenish on it's own.
Also fish farms should be treated like any other farm with the same restrictions that care for the animals. etc etc. I've seen some very good shows about the advancement in aquaculture farming etc.
I'm not reading all that stuff, it's too late at night.

What 2 items do you bring back from your time to defend yourself with?
They are 500 meters away on all sides of you and equipped as such:

Their only intent is to kill you. In order to survive, you must eliminate all 100. You have access to anything that's currently invented today. You cannot bring back anything you can't hold (no tanks, for example).

A fast acting chemical warfare thing that will kill them all quickly, and the antidote for me. Sucks to be the rest of the world, but there you have it.
Other option, a machine gun with armour piercing rounds, and spare ammo. But if the ammo is included with the machine gun I'd go for the second item being a kevlar body suit.
