I think it is fantastic.
It is out of the way enough that it doesn't bother my board viewing at all, yet it does still catch my attention.
But more than anything, I think it is great for the reasons Zach mentioned.
It is a way for us to give him money in small increments, and to have fun doing it.
I love it.

I use live. I think it's so weird that people still use AIM, because I think I can name one person that I know in person who uses it; and he's VERY LONELY (maybe).

I use MSN usually. I know only a couple people in RL with AIM, whereas most people I know have MSN. To contrast, of all the people I've met on the Interwebs, so far only two have had MSN, and both also had AIM.

I only got AIM because a friend got free IM on her phone, and she's bored as hell at work.
I'll use MSN or AIM, but they're all the same email address.

I like AIM better because it has less potential for blinding fonts. My friend had a flashing animation of Avril Lavigne programmed into her MSN to show up every time she said no for a while. She did it to annoy me, mind you.

Before this forum, I knew two people who used ICQ, and one person (from Australia) who used MSN. Everybody else, without exception, used AIM.
