Farewell! Possibly forever, most likely not forever

Post by smiley_cow »

So I'm going to go student teaching tomorrow somewhere further north than where I am now, and I am going to have very limited Internet access. What does this mean? That I will probably be on the forum very little or not at all in the coming five weeks. (I may come home for one or two weekends)

If anything of interest happens while I'm gone, you can link it in this thread and I will actually bother to read it and catch up. Otherwise I'm assuming nothing of interest has happened and I will probably just click all forums read. So, for example, if Timness and CCT both come back and get into some sort of epic flame war, I'd be much obliged if you'd link that.

If I don't come back after November 20th, you can assume that I've died.

How far north are you going? I think it'd be a ton of fun if I went up to Nunavut and taught English there but I don't know if that's actually what you're talking about, or anything close to it. Anyway best of luck, and I can assure you that basically nothing that will stay interesting for 5 weeks will actually happen. Though I am looking forward to the Timness/CCT war (less forward to the Timness/CCT makeup sex).

Hey, it wouldn't be an epic flame war unless Kurtis55555 showed up, as well.

Actually I'm only going about two hours further north than I am now. So about central Manitobaish, as opposed to southern Manitobaish where I am now. So nothing so cool as that. Though apparently there are a lot of moose and bears in that area. If I don't come back, assume I was eaten by a bear.

I completely forgot about Kurtis5(11111). I guess he could show up after it's all started and escalate it. Fun fact: Until he started swearing at people, I honestly thought he was someone's alt. And even then I remained sceptical until he exiled to New Outlandia.

Don't let those bears push you around!
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Anyone ever read the wikiality page on Manitoba? It's all about bears and the French.

Have fun. Remember, if you go far enough north you are allowed to beat children. It has something to do with the arctic circle.

How about pounding children?

In all serious, have fun in the wilds of the North. Beware the Northmen and God Speed.

Why would anyone listen to Celine Dion willingly?

I was unaware of this law. It will serve me well when I go to the territories. *grins*

Anyways I'm off! Thanks for all the farewells! They've ever so slightly warmed the cold, dark area where my heart used to be.

*Stolen from Zach? Partially.
