Ed seems to think I live in a bad area 'cause "a guy died there once!"

man i did not say that quit ramming your words down my throat

all i said was something like 'huh, turns out someone died in [your area] a few months back'

Honestly I don't even keep track of murders in my area. Once in a while my mother mentions it to me but it just doesn't bother me.

Apparently there was a naked gunman causing trouble in the ciy here a few weeks ago, but it barely got a mention. Probably because he didn't actually do anything in the end except hold up some traffic.

No unfortunately not him. He probably would have gotten more coverage.

Actually that happened here in Manitoba. Lee got on the bus here in Brandon and cut off Tim McLean's head just before Portage LaPrairie. Had he managed to control himself another half hour he could have done the deed in Winnipeg and brought up there count but nooo. Selfish bastard.

I'm not sure what you're saying but I heard this on the news when I was working in Virden (1.5 hour drive from Brandon). I Spent my whole summer last year in Virden working. I was actually flown back to home instead of going on a bus because of that.

P.S.: Why is there no shoulder on highways in manitoba?

We're working on it! We swear. Just because you happen to be the only province that doesn't have a shoulder on parts of the Trans Canadia and some kids biking for charity die because of it, people never let you hear the end of it.

Also if it takes you an hour and a half to get to Virden from Brandon you are driving very slowly.

I probably would be driving faster if there was a shoulder.

...And if you don't believe that then I just have a bad memory.

I think like 3 people died on bikes in Virden. It might be more or less or none at all...my memory is bad. did I say that already?

...but really, if I were to run around like a chicken with it's head cut off in search of an idea, you could be my memory banks/center. Ex: laziness man names a topic but is too lazy to research. bad memory dude searches topic but cannot see the big picture from lack of memory. then laziness man assembles the detailed info on specific things on said topic and creates the big picture!

Wow, it seems with every new person there arises at least one amusing gender misunderstanding. I'm beginning to think it is unavoidable.

To be fair half of us are girls and there are at least two guys I know of that wish they were girls on here.

So should our avatars just be pictures of our genitals?
