As much as I don't want Detroit to win (and I'm kind of up in the air about Boston), I think it'd be really interesting to have an original six pair of conference finals.

Boston winning wouldn't bother me that much. Boston fans don't seem to invade every single arena. All I have to do is imagine that they aren't also Patriots fans and it's a-ok.

I know a bunch of Boston fans, and that is where my mind is kind of split on it. As non-Leafs fans, they tend to be ridiculously defensive about it. To the point that it is nearly offensively defensive (like self-deprecation). So in that way, I don't really want to see them rewarded, since I can imagine that it would increase after it. On the other hand, they are my friends, so that they be rewarded for their fandom is okay by me, plus I actually kind of like Boston's team this year.
