Well, yeah, okay. Crumpets are pretty good.

A filthy Uk? Is that any way to talk about the nationality of your head of state?

No, I have never had crumpets. I've had plenty of biscuits (by the way, I mean REAL biscuits, not cookies!) though.

Re: It's a big internet out there.
This discussion (well not about nationalities, before that) has made me realize a few more boards I've been on.
XKCD. I've posted maybe a dozen times, and only really check it if there is a comic I have desire to chat about.
As I said elsewhere, I was part of a forum among friends which lasted for a few months. We mostly started it because my roomate was jealous of my involvement with a tight web community (this is back when I was heavy in the VA one).
I also posted a dozen times in a clan forum when I was playing Improbable Island. A game which I grew kind of tired of, went inactive for a month and was deleted. Kind of disappointing. And a poor decision on the creator's part, as now I definitely won't be returning.
I did post about a half-dozen times on Captain Excelsior's forum too, if that counts.

Re: It's a big internet out there.
Came from the big dark scary world of Explosm.net, home of Cyanide & Happiness. THe forum was pretty cool, but it was large and felt that I was not really getting any closer than an outsider on the forum even after 6 months or so, even when others were getting accepted much quicker. I liked the small knit community and the insane posts here, and decided to switch my loyalties over for good, but I'm still sorting out the custody issues after the divorce.

95% of my family is from the UK. The other 5% is from parts unknown. I still hate crumpets.. and brown sauce on eggs.

Tomato Sauce on eggs is the cool thing now. Well apart from chewing on skunks.*
*I have started saying in real life that x is no longer cool, the cool thing now is chewing on skunks. No one gets it because they don't read SMBC.
