Some people thought that it was 'cool' that I was eccentric and threatening, but they were probably just scared.

I didn't start out cool. I changed the way people saw me by refusing to conform to their beliefs. I would be willing to stand up and lecture the class during homeroom on the evils of rap music and grinding in semi-public areas (not semi-pubic, mind you). They went from complacent, to angry, to annoyed, to enthralled! I got along with people once they embraced who I am. It's funny, though. I never thought I was popular, but I have to say that I was. By senior year, I was liked by mostly anyone I had interacted with. There were some people I initially did not like, but they found it nice that even though I disapproved of some of the things they did, like showing off their free-style abilities or talking about the women they wanted to bang, I still did not look down on them.

Someone wrote on my shirt with chalk one day. It was a good shirt that I actually liked, and I told them to fuck off when they were going to do it again. He said, what, are you going to do something about it? I told him I'd run like a little bitch. Hilarity ensues!
Just like an std, will never fully go away.

nerds
I find it hard to believe that anyone who was "cool" is hanging out on a web comic forum.

I think it's interesting that nerds = socially awkward. But, there is a separate category for "smart kids" who have passable social skills.

I was a smart kid.

I found solace in a social skills alternative. Seriously, no one respected me until I started threatening people who made fun of me, and that was when I started to make some friends. I think I learned a bad lesson.

Sounds like a good lesson to me. The end justifies the means. And being mean.

Yeah, I think that is a bad lesson.

It's very Machiavellian, though.

Note to self: Never let LR gain too much power in the world.
But hey, the strategy worked for Hitler! He went from bullied kid (I think) to commander of an empire!

I don't think he was bullied, but people did call his artwork shitty.

I'll admit that I don't really know a lot about art.

Well, it's good know about it because you can feel better than other people without feeling like a nerd.

It's pronounced "elitist".

Hell, you can be an elitist without actually knowing or being good at anything. I do it.
