As far as I can tell, that list has nothing to do with music that turns you gay and more to do with a random list of bands.

As far as I can tell, that list has everything to do with christian fearmongering and secular music. Good christian kids only listen to good christian music. If you can't convince those kids to burn their cd's because they are displeasing to god, convince their parents that the music will turn them gay. Some items on the list, like Ani Difranco and Elton John, have a little bit of logic to go on, since those artists are not straight, but mostly it's just secular music that has bad words in it. Burn it all, and buy your kids a DCTalk cd, so they can learn through music the joys of Sadness and loneliness and just what a huge difference funding makes in the quality production of music.

My first guess upon looking at the site was that it was a hoax, or rather I pleaded for some sign that this definitely was a hilarious joke. I was terribly scared that maybe it wasn't.

I would put myself at +7 gay according to the list. Ravi Shankar's mention was hilarious becuase it makes no sense whatsoever, he's not even that well known, and much of his music is instrumental or sung in HIndi. Nickleback's inclusion was justifiable, however.

Of course all of it looks crazy, but it takes a bit more attention to see if something is real or not... You have to see if they take themselves seriously or not, because crazies always do and parodies always put special attention into looking ironic or funny. A parody is trying, you see.
