After much careful thought, my vote goes to oldrac, even though he doesn't need it. For the record, I liked them both, but a second reading tipped the scale.

I'm a bit confused about the rules. You can submit nothing, let the mods make one, and have a small chance of winning, or submit something late, and get disqualified? That doesn't make much sense.

Regardless, I vote for Oldrac.

And bulbmusic is right. It's pretty confusing.

I suggested that not submitting on time meant you were disqualified, but Ed suggested mod battles instead. It's a little confusing, but that's what we decided.
