Gonna go with Kimra on this one. That second to last panel, the flowers one, is a reference from something, but I can't for the life of me remember what. I wanna say Final Fantasy 8 with the Devour ability, but I don't think that was it... close though.

The thing I was thinking of when I did that last panel was actually a very obscure TV show called Freakazoid. It had 'budget cuts' for an episode so every time there was a fight you got soothing images of flowers or water or trees.
