I would mention Family Force 5, The Exies, Three Days Grace, and a few other bands to my list. I realize I hadn't actually mentioned any of that stuff.

No, they're symphonic metal. If you like them, you should check out Rhapsody of Fire. They're an Italian symphonic metal band.

One band that I feel as a guilty pleasure is Manowar. There is something about it that I like, but I just can't place.

I prefer screaming to really bad singers, honestly. Mastodon never screams anymore, they just get Brent Hinds to go "roooh haah aaargh" in his ridiculously silly, high-pitched voice. He reminds me of my German history teacher (history teacher that is German). I really can't listen to them anymore.
