no joke it is pretty much my favourite movie ever in the history of film and i really want to see a sequel to it because there are a lot of concepts mentioned but left unexplored

it is like chekov had a whole damn armory of guns that were never used but this may be in part because it was written by joe fuckin' haldeman to be a movie for adults that kids can enjoy but the director wanted it to be a movie for kids that adults could enjoy so a lot of the more heady stuff kinda got put aside for extreme robot fighting action (not that i am complaining)
