My girlfriend and I went to a tango concert at my university's art museum this evening. It was a trio of keyboard/electric bass, flute, and vocalist. The bassist/keyboardist was my girlfriend's music composition professor and the vocalist was his wife (both Argentinian). It was awesome music, but it was kinda weird to sit there in a museum (albeit a pretty cool one) with a bunch of greyhairs not moving at all listening to tango.

I've known about FKA twigs for awhile but I've just started listening to her stuff properly, and I am quite impressed by both the music and some of her videos.
FKA twigs - Pendulum
FKA twigs - Two Weeks

Grimes - Halfaxa
I think this is my first time knowingly listening to Grimes and I quite like her. Sort of like a 21st century Canadian Enya.

I always find Kill v Maim pretty catchy. The train platform they filmed in is an out-of-service station called Lower Bay; it's mostly used for training new operators but it's also been in a bunch of movies (usually dressed up to look like an NYC platform). It's open to the public a couple times a year to walk through but there is always a major line to check it out. I've passed through it on the train a couple times; it's pretty underwhelming.

I was proud of myself for recognizing Brooke Candy in the music video for Genesis.

Kaleo - Way Down We Go (in a volcano!).
Heard this song on the local alternative rock station a couple of times in the last week and I'm loving it.
