Banjoing it up
I never knew playing one of these things would be so fun. You would think that where im from that everyone in the boondocks would know how to play one but we dont. This is kinda fun. I was playing the other day and this guy came up and started spiting his backer to the beat. It was sick but still, better then setting around for another call from someone needed a bounty collected.

You know, I hadn't realized the "Boondocks" was that dark. Yes, yes playing a random musical instrument and getting noise/music out of it can be Highly Enjoyable! I personally enjoy guitar drumming greatly until the guitar owner takes it away from me in horror about 'what I did to his baby'.HARDKORE wrote:I never knew playing one of these things would be so fun. .. And you aren't seriously claiming to be a bounty hunter. I'm just going to pretend your referencing finding lots pets or something semi-believable. Maybe the adorable kitten is in the tree again! Oh Nos! You better get the ladder : (

I have a guitar too, If you did that to mine I would probably kill you with whatever it was that you used to drum on the guitar, even if it was your palm. I don't know what it is about guitars but you get a real obsession for them once you own them, provided you didn't just buy a cheap one made of plywood.Asherian wrote: You know, I hadn't realized the "Boondocks" was that dark. It's the same with me and books. If you bend my covers, or dog-ear a page, you WILL face my wrath.

It works best with acoustic guitars, and yeah palm/finger tip nothing solid. It's actually done as a part of some styles. You can get some really cool sounds out of it... Since your only really hitting the strings its normally not very destructive, esp. if you re-string them and all.

It's still an agression, if you didn't ask beforehand.
That's my opinion, at least.

Oh of course you ask first. People just don't always realize what your asking... Those things are to expensive to touch without some kind of permission most betimes.

Banjo is an original african instrument, I believe. Isn't it racist that it's the only instrument associated with anyone that may be lacking intelligence.

No, its a banjo. Banjo are not physically capable of being racist. If we happened to live in a utopian world, we would all probably be banjos*.AHMETxRock wrote:Banjo is an original african instrument, I believe. *Or rocks. I hear they're pretty tolerant too.

Re: Banjoing it up
I find it mildly entertaining that with how much activity this thread has spawned, Hardkore has abandoned it. Guess he's just to busy banjoing it up...
I dunno, If we were all banjos where'd be the fun and diversity? Remember diversity is Awesome! Racist are diverse too, they just forget that its a Good thing to be so.
If we were all rocks we'd hate the pumice or something, I dunno, maybe granites really snarky.
