The Joe Comic

Post by Comix »

Looking for some feedback and showing my comic to you guys wondering what you think.

Joe!

The Joe Comic started out as drawings on a piece of paper, and grew into a small site with updates weekly. Joe is a stick figure who wears a top hat and travels the world, meeting new friends, enemies and other fascinating things.

The comic updates daily and has been running for just over a year.

Here are a few of the comics.

seriously? you named yourself comix? also - you might try making at least a half-assed attempt at pretending to like us before advertising your webcomic... just a thought.

also, your comic is um... cute i guess? it isn't really my thing, but i can see its appeal. perhaps it could be fixed with more puppy murders. I'm just sayin' is all...

It has a certain charm to it, I'll give you that. Kind of the same type of charm that Biff has. But it isn't as funny as Biff, and therefore wouldn't get me to keep reading it.

I'd rather read C&H, it's kinda the same premise, except funnier.

Artistically similar? Yeah, I guess.
But hardly the same premise. And not even close to a similar "read".

ruotwocone - I actually go with the name everywhere.

Anywas, towards C&H, I know the art style can seem the same, but I'm trying to veer away from that style of humour as much as I can.

I don't think you put forward your best material. Comics like 'The Period' were kinda funny in my opinion, so maybe more like that? I'm trying to find more examples, but having a hard time.

Agreed. I liked the drinking on the job one. Not sure how I'd like it as a comic I read once a day, but it's entertaining enough where I'm enjoying it if I read 10+ at a time and get in the rhythm of it.

Ooooh, constructive criticism! Good point, though. It is something I enjoy enough to bust through a bunch at a time, but not the type I'd add to my daily checklist.
