I don't use my ipod because I don't download music.
Just like an std, will never fully go away.

I used to have an iPod and I loved it because I used it to download podcasts, a disproportionate amount of which came from CBC. Then it got stolen and I am no podcastless.

60gig ipod. I've got about a gig free, but at least 10 gig of that is music tagged as "new" that I'm not sure if I'm going to keep or not.
I don't listen to 95% of it on any given day, but I frequently look up some random song or album, and it would annoy me having to choose just 10% of my music to keep with me. So, I always bought the biggest available iPod regardless of cost.
Have owned it, uh, 5+ years now I think, have had zero problems except for a few lines of dead pixels that appeared about two months ago, but it doesn't bother me.

Re: Night Time Activities
I saved up for a 120GB before and after my 4GB was stolen. That 4GB one was filled in literally under a week. It was what my parents gave me as a gift, not knowing how little music that is or that the new generation was coming out in a month or that I would always associate the colour with Santa. A really nice thought that secretly pissed me off because I would so rather buy things for myself and getting them just how I like. Receiving gifts is teh hatred for me. My new ePod is wonderous, if a bitch to scroll through.

Hahah it'd be so much easier if we just all gave each other the monetary value of our gifts. Then you'd be a little pissed when you receive someone's best wishes.

It's not even that, I just hate being given things, compliments, money, or kind words. It makes me feel awkward and I don't know how to respond and I don't appreciate it and lalala.

I know how you feel, but now I just say 'Thanks' and walk off and not care anymore.

That I can understand, especially the compliments thing, which I am not fond of at all. There's no good way to say "your compliments are pissing me off." I always think "am I supposed to compliment them back? Deny it? Thank them?" I have no idea, so I just awkwardly stand there and wait for a different conversation to come up.

Re: Night Time Activities
I've had my first generation 4gb ipod mini for 4.5 years now (and for the past 3ish the battery has been shot, so I can only listen to it when it's plugged in the wall. Good thing I'm a hermit anyway!) and I've been thinking lately of getting an iPod Touch, mainly because I already need a new laptop for school, and apple will give you a touch for free if you buy their laptops. Has anyone had the touch?* Hows the battery life, UI, and battery longevity?
Anyway, I always want to go walking alone at night, taking pictures and climbing trees. But as a young, thin-but-out-of-shape female, I literally dont have the balls to do it for long. Also I expect the pictures would be rather boring as suburbs are rather lame.

Carry a broadsword.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Isn't the point of suburbs to be really safe?natinia wrote:Anyway, I always want to go walking alone at night, taking pictures and climbing trees.
