Re: Michelle's Bad Day (discussion)
I didn't so much pass as completely didn't realize it was my turn.
That being said, I'm not sure how to follow it either, great piece Kimra.

By all means, take it. We'll count it as taking your turn after Ash, I guess.

Cool, I start school on Wednesday so I'll have it down before then. Getting an idea is the hard part but I think I already have that down.

I think the turns system might be unnecessary at this point, so long as people announce their intention to write the next section before they start writing it.
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

You're nice.Oldrac the Chitinous wrote:No, no, it's just too tough of an act to follow, see.
If it's tough to follow it's only because I didn't actually lead up to any sort of cliffhanger. Cliffhangers are the easiest to follow.
Yeah, I think this might be a better option. But maybe also make sure no-one posts without a two person gap between them, or some people who want to post may miss out.Oldrac the Chitinous wrote:I think the turns system might be unnecessary at this point, so long as people announce their intention to write the next section before they start writing it.

I am earnestly, deeply saddened I didn't show up on time to contribute*, but that is more than made up for by the sheer awesome** quality of the writings I am seeing.
I'll try to be more reliable from this point on.
*Rehab again***.
**I don't care about my awesome allowance, I'm using it up to express my love of the story to this point.
***Is it weird that this is always my go-to excuse? And what kind of rehab do I suppose I need anyway?

Re: Michelle's Bad Day (discussion)
Okay, I don't want to take too much time so I posted it today. I'm sorry about the length... And the accent... And anything else I probably should've done better. Whoops!
EDIT: Damn, I'm still fixing bits. Maybe I should've waited to post it until after work tomorrow, when I had thought it through (instead of at 5 in the morning in my delirious insomnia). I don't think I can fix it anymore when people start reading it, unfortunately. Thus is the penalty for being sloppy.

Well done LR. And with much more promptness than I managed.

Ooh, I like the way this appears to be going!
If there are no strong objections, I'll do the next entry, sometime tonight after I'm done with classes.

Well I've finally taken the time to read your story and the discussion. I have found it quite entertaining. I think I'd like to jump into the fray at some point in the near future.

Soon I will read it and demand to take part. But I don't want to read it yet.
