I wonder whether it is possible to type 100 wpm...

In the typing speed test maximum wpm scored was 88. I am not sure whether it is bcoz of the text in the test or quality of people who have taken the test

You could use a stenography keyboard they use in courts. That goes at the speed of speech.

Honestly I wonder if the 100wpm thing wasn't set way back in the day before the qwerty keyboard came out. Especially since the qwerty keyboard was specifically designed to be slower to type on because peoples typewriters were jamming when they typed too fast.

I took a test online (so I'm not sure how official it is) but I only ended up getting 60 wpm. Though I think I go faster when I'm typing from my head instead of reading the text and copying it. Oh well, I'm still not lightning fast by any means, but I get by.

Yeah I've been able to do over 110 wpm in the past so that's definitely not true. I got about 90 wpm on this one my first try, and of course I can do more after a few tries (but really what on earth is it supposed to be testing then). To be fair the text and how the test works is a little difficult so I can understand not really being able to type full-speed here.

Let me share the typing speed of visitors who have taken in this site typing speed test ..
71% below 55wpm
22% between 55wpm and 70wpm
only 7% above 70wpm

I fall in 22% category :[]

Well, not everyone can have strong, manly typing hands like me.

I just tried that typing test, it's really not a great one. When I make a mistake I can't even figure out where my cursor is to fix them. :/

Yeah you just have to type the letter in red until you get it. It's so stupid. No one types like that.

Yeah I loose accuracy, because I hit delete when I make a mistake. However my score was 90wpm.
It would be higher if I were American and knew one jot of that speech beyond the first three words. Tests that are bias towards Americans clearly suck. At least make it something no-body knows.

EDIT: How is this related to NaNoWriMo?

Hey hey hey, one month until the NaNoWriMo starts again! Who's joining in this time?

I will try yet again, although I don't expect much because I am even more busy than last year (although I am trying to start writing again and have been producing tons of bad poetry lately).

You could make a book of bad poetry. I don't think it says you have to write a novel.

For National Novel Writing Month? But yeah actually maybe I'll just produce 50000 words worth of bad poetry.
