My Scripts

I've started updating my script blog regularly, and I'm wondering whether it's worth buying a couple of ads to get viewing figures up. I think people might like them.

Or is there any other way I can spread the word?

Well if you are active on a lot of forums it could help. Link to things and submit each post to stumbleupon and dig and whatnot. Hrmm. Also just interacting with other bloggers randomly helps. Idk. Just use lots of social networking, tell your friends. Stuff like that.

I'm really bad at social networking and getting attention to my writing, but it's okay 'cause I don't have a very good portfolio right now anyway.

If your work stands out others would spread the word. Then again, it can backfire. A friend of mine didn't want to read 8 bit theatre because it was so funny and long that he'd get sucked in. Like we are, I suppose. Also, it needs to garner legit interest via some sort of merit. Not to say it lacks merit if you aren't noticed.

For example, there needs to be something about a game that would would pick up more than once to play. Compelling story, riviting graphics, TITS AND ASS. You gotta do something worth coming back to, ya dig? I'd recommend getting stuff done before you bother trying to spread word. Once you have a sizable amount of content that has updated semi regularly, THEN you worry about getting read. If your goal is to be noticed, you will lack the drive to finish it. Which is why my comics kinda ran dry...

BLARGH. IT'S HARD WORK YA KNOW. I have to actually start chopping 'em up and arranging them so they fit on pages. And I'll be adding a lot to them. I'm doing a graphic novel for an assignment in creative writing.

That's pretty cool.

Hey, come on MSN. I can't talk to you just via formspring.

EDIT: Forgot to plug the newest update. It discusses sleeve-capes and is satire on politics.

What's the next level? Lots and lots of people reading your blog? Or doing something different to scripts, like an actual mini show or something?

Lots and lots of people. Basically I want to ignore you and fenghar and pander to them.

All that time I spent forcing people to read your blog, wasted. I feel so used.

Try doing a wacky ethnically diverse odd couple police dramedy. With a moral at the end.
I think people like those.

Well I'm going to keep on writing things that don't make sense and contain extremely divisive political messages.

You could always get less apathetic friends.
