Re: Pictures what I drew
Quick little apple study I did today. I haven't done a colour study since that frog and I'm trying to get back in the habit.

It's like a photo-realistic-surrealistic apple. I like it. What sort of program do you use? Do you do many non-computer drawings too?

Thanks. I mostly use Gimp because I am too poor to afford real imaging software.
I don't draw too much traditional art these days, mostly it's expensive always buying new supplies and I never really got the hang of using a scanner, but if you go back in this thread I have a few sketches and some inked bears I did buy hand and scanned in.

I like the Ai Weiwei a lot. You do a few different styles which is cool.
My dad and I doodle quite a bit. His are really good - they're not of anything, just abstractions. Mine are similar but I haven't been doing it for fifty-plus years yet. Going to get my dad to make one for a tattoo I'll eventually get.

You should post some of your doodles.

I thought it was poor form to post your doodle on a forum.

My dad probably won't mind if I post his, too.

Re: Pictures what I drew
Got around to taking a picture of one.
I was sketching some stuff for a composition project, got bored, and doodled some beneath. Then I liked it so I wrote the rest of the piece around it.

Oh that's pretty cool. There's a nice symmetry to it.

Thankee. I'll try and scrounge up one my dad's drawn. Depending on the class, my school notes are often filled with them.

Re: Pictures what I drew
It's not really a drawing, and I didn't take the best picture of it, but this is what I do at the beach when not swimming. This was yesterday.

Re: Pictures what I drew
My mom asked for a painting for her birthday, and I'm kind of on a creepy-crawlies fix right now. Finished it with a whole two hours to spare!
