Things I've researched for writing

I've felt obliged to look up many a thing since I started writing this nano thing. What have you had to look up?

I had to look up clothing stores downtown 'cause I wanted one that started with a "k" sound.

A billion pages on ghosts
A billion pages on just various words

I honestly can't remember everything I've looked up but here's some of the fun:

Where people put their hands when leaning against a wall. Besides pockets I could think of nothing.
What cave formations are smooth, if any.
Cave Systems.
Any random facts about Geckos (hey they actually do have teeth)
Embroidered Corset tops.
Men's fashion (what the hell do men wear? Boring boring mens fashion)
How to brainwash someone.
Colour names.
And different types of metal you might make jewellery out of (which I ended up not using, but I found rings I'd like to own)

How uncool, I answered my own question.

I feel lame for not having had to look anything up.

Well, at least not since writing. Before writing I was looking into camera crews/film crews for various project sizes. Some on interviews in general. I did a look see at vampire mythos according to tv tropes and other sources to see where my vampires would fall on the spectrum. I'm sure that won't stay true though, I'll probably end up looking far more than I have yet. Oh, also LDS church history, and colonial period america pre the revolutionary war.

Oh and Kimra what did you need to know about Corsets? I know far to much on the subject..

That was the first link from that video on youtube. I blame both on you Ed.

Also I think Johnny Condom might be from over seas.. that might explain it.

I just love the ending caption about average length, because that will make them feel better!

And all of the comments going "bullshit my dick is over 2 feet long!"

Best comment: "i hate when i get a boner in class and my desk flies across the room."

Why... why is Björk in that condom clip?

Asherian wrote:Oh and Kimra what did you need to know about Corsets? I know far to much on the subject..
I was looking into hand embroidered corset tops and the kind of designs that may or may not be put onto them. I get fixated by the fashion of characters when I shouldn't be.

I haven't done much research at all. I looked up some stuff about iron pipes (how long it takes for them to rust, etc.) and pictures of iron sculptures. And I sketched out a sloppy diagram of the apartment.

At least it's promoting contraceptives? Yeah, it's still weird.

Cool stuff. Didn't know any of these, except for the Wolpertinger. Not even the supposedly German Nachzehrer and Draugr. (I only know http://www.draugr.de the Jabber service. :D)

Everywhere is overseas depending on which side of the sea you are on.

I read that as 2 feet longer initially.

I needed a name of someone who might not be entirely evil (but probably is). I am allergic to citrus fruit.
1+1=slightly less than 2, bitches!

After I found the name, I did research for about two hours on the topic of artificial languages. It has nothing to do with what I'm writing.
I'm not dead. Just mysteriously absent.
I mysteriously reappeared. Shazam.
