I gave up too. I had a vague ending in mind but didn't have a clue how to get there, nor did I really know how to introduce other characters (nor did I quite know what to do with them). Also I figured it would be really dumb to start it with a pace of 5k words for a day in the book and then skip over days or entire weeks at a time as would have been necessary to actually move through the plot.

I'm new to this writing thing okay? But at least I have my Novembeard to make me proud.

Maybe in a while after everyone's recovered from Nano we could do another writing/other creative type contest for pens to get rid of them.

You just want one. I know that. But I'll consider it (mostly because I have no use for them). :P

How do you know I'm not just concerned with the advancement of art and culture on the forum? But yeah, I want one so bad.

Now that you've said that, this is probably the year where everyone who attempts it wins NaNoWriMo this year.
