My personal ranking of Chuck's books:

1) Rant
2) Fight Club
3) Survivor
4) Lullaby
5) Choke
6) Invisible Monsters
7) Diary (quite boring in my opinion)

I haven't read Diary (though I've heard similar reviews to yours) or Invisible Monsters. My ranking would be as follows:

1) Rant
2) Survivor
3) Lullabye
4) Fight Club
5) Choke

I have intentions of buying the new one when it comes out, though I have difficulty justifying buying a hardcover. Or is it out already? I only heard of it recently, and haven't been to the bookstore in a good long time.

I've only read Fight Club and Choke.

Huge fan of the former, really didn't like the latter.

I'm thinking about maybe reading Invisible Monsters or Survivor to break the tie between love and hate for Chuck P.

EDIT: I heard that people have fainted/vomited while reading Ghost Stories, so I'm not sure whether to read or avoid it.
All the cool kids are reading http://www.hitmanpiranha.com and http://www.ss-comic.com!

Really? Wow. It was really good and all but I never felt the need to vomit or faint. I giggled once or twice and I think I said "woah" at one point, but that is about it.

My mind is far more graphic and disturbing than anything I have ever read/seen so far, but he came close enough to make me go "woah".. It takes allot to do that*.

*or a horse, i say woah on a horse, but not much anywhere else

Edit: I can't spell far

I don't think words can make me throw up. Images, perhaps, but only if they're like extremely extremely disturbing.

I haven't thrown up in five years. I've even tried to throw up, but I seem to have developed some kind of superhuman gag reflex. Things don't really gross me out unless I touch them, anyways. So what is Rant about since you all seem to love it so?

Men love women with no gag reflex.

I on the other hand, have a very healthy gag reflex, and I can vomit easily if I really wanted to. I don't even need to use my fingers, I just use the back of my tongue.

Pretty much. It's not like I employ it all the time though. I haven't done since high school, when I used to do it so I could stay home that day.
