The Turn of the Screw

I know it's a literary classic.

I like lots of literary classics.

I really really don't get why this one's supposed to be so great.

I think the point was that he didn't much enjoy it. I could be wrong though. It's happened before. A lot.

I haven't read this one because of horrible reviews by my sister. She said it was dull and horrible and failed to elaborate, though, so maybe I should see for myself...

I've never met a dull book I didn't like. Except one. DAMN YOU, AENEID! I swear I will tackle that book again. I've gotten through plenty of Tolkien books, The Idiot by Dostoevsky, and The Iliad and the Odyssey. Yet, the Aeneid stopped me in my tracks a few chapters in. No book makes a fool out of me!
