I haven't read Pride and Prejudice. I actually tried reading it, though it didn't sustain my interest - which is a bit of a surprise given that I loved the movie version of that classic. It was like written in a teeny bopper style in the Victorian ages, if you know what I mean. That's just a personal opinion though. Nonetheless I really loved the movie.

Pride and Prejudice was the only Jane Austin I managed to plow through. I didn't like it very much.

I liked Pride and Prejudice (the real one), I can see some people finding it a bit dull though, I suppose.

I loved Pride and Prejudice, and some of her other works (Emma) are just as good. But at least 50% of her books are a bit tedious to me.

I always enjoy the BBC adaptations, but I read Emma once and it took me a long time to get through because I never found it that absorbing.

I watched a Victorian period drama*, and it seemed that they had written a normal modern drama, removed all of the apostrophes and handed it in. The dialogue sounds like it was written by someone with English as a second language.

*A drama set in Victorian times, not from Victorian times.

Hey don't say things like that about Hardkore! He's just expressing his creativity.

It's just that he's such a disappointment as a son.

Ed and I worry about what he'll grow up to do.

However badly he grows up, you can rest easy in the knowledge that he'll never be as bad as Steve. STEVE Image.
