No its not. He is hit by a car and wakes up in 1973.

I am talking about the American one. It was only one season. The ending was not all that good. Its on dvd and I hope I can find it. My family would set down and watch this with me. Let me give you all the wikipedia page

It's alright, I can guess the characters and things.

John Simm (The British Sam Tyler) was in Doctor Who this week, playing the master again. Very good couple of episodes I thought, however Matt Smith's doctor wasn't so great at the end there. But he looked okay in the trailer.

Seriously man you need to read posts more carefully. Life on Mars went for two seasons and was totally awesome. The 'sequel' series, Ashes to Ashes has it's 3rd and last season coming up and is pretty much just as awesome if not a bit more so but unfortunately doesn't have John Simm in it. And it is set in the early 80s.
John Simm is freakin' cool.

Seriously man you need to read posts more carefully. Pay close attention to where I said i was talking about the American show went for one season and was totally awesome. I even posted the link to the American show. I have not read anything saying they would make an American version of the sequel.

I dont know anything about the show that was on in England. I am going off what you all tell me about it.

... if you haven't seen the English one, go watch it right now. The ending for the American one was random and terrible.
Plus there's a sort of sequel series with another character called Ashes to Ashes which is also really good.
