We'll use Ruo's sheets for convince. Fill in:
Name
Attributes and skills (75 points)
Roll on the dice server "SMBC RPG2" a d20 for hit points and a d10 for magic points
Everyday items that your character would have on him.
One special item (not a weapon or armor, and I have veto power). This is where you get to be creative. Good example would be a He-man lunch box that is magically filled with a bologna sandwich, Snack Pack, carrot sticks, and a thermos of milk three times a day.

As promised, here is the blank character sheet. It has what are hopefully good instructions in it in comment form (if you're new to excel, just hover over the cells with the red arrows in the corner and a comment will appear... like magic!). Also, I made a sample character for people to look at in case that helps.

Question! Are you running the Armour/To hit as Thac0? I know TwoCone is not, but he said you are running things differently.

Yeah, still accepting people. I'm going to run it basically as a THAC0-esk system, but going to make it a little easier for noobs. You want high hit bonus and armor bonus. Both start at 0.

I've got sheets from a number of people. I start vacation on Monday so that's when I'll be starting my campaign. Let me know before then if you want in. You don't have to have a char ready by then, just interest declared and the appearance that you'll stick around for a few weeks. I'm going to try to get feedback done on the character sheets I have by later tonight.

Ed sent me an enormous back story on his character. I'm still deciding whether to read it. I'm thinking of giving you all the same back story. All orphans and never knew your parents until the end of the quest and it turns out your mom is a dead hero and your dad is your arch enemy. Except Dins whose dad also turns out to be an extremely fertile sock puppet.

Read the backstory. It helps explain the character. That, and it's only about five paragraphs and is part and parcel of Donovan's character concept. Without it, he kind of sucks hardcore. Don't get me wrong, though. The Hero-mother who got freaky with a sock puppet is interesting, too.

My character is a seaman called Richard.F.Uss. He works at the grocery shop selling cucumbers and sausages. He is often compared with a horse, because he hangs like one. He lives in the United Kingdom, the same country as someone I know.

Do I make up the skills? It's just that I don't have a list of them or anything.
