It could be worse, we didn't have a nurses office. Growing up a nurse's office in a school was something they had on TV, like separate gym classes for girls and boys and teachers who actually wanted to be there.

My school had a Nurse's Office, but that's just where we went to get our pills and recover from fights.

Maybe it is a Canadian thing because I never had a school nurse in any school I went to nor in any school where I was teaching. There was at best a room with a few emergency medical supplies but normally if a kid felt sick they were sent home. No dying on school property allowed.
