I see you also decided to fuck about with the way I'd worded stuff. Not that I'm complaining, just makes me feel depressed.

Oh. Yes. I meant to mention that I did that.

My condolences. There's a gift basket on the way.

Oh oh oh!
And yes, you should make the first System Shock roll now.

Did you already take my skills into account for it?

ALSO where the hell is the dice server again?

And the password?

No.
Have fun, you guys.

It's http://www.wargalley.com/game.php .
The game is SMBC RPG3 , and the password is saturday.

ADDENDUM: I apparently forgot my own rolling system. Rolling high is good, so Edminster actually wants to roll 8 or higher. For future reference:
Oldrac the Chitinous wrote:Here are the mechanics, in a nutshell. It's basically a skeletonized version of the d20 system:
You have a Special Attribute, a Profession, and a bunch of skills.
Whenever you're trying to do something where success isn't assured, you will generate a random number between 1 and 20. If what you're doing is related to one of your skills, you'll add a bonus to whatever you roll. +5 if the skill is related to your profession, +3 otherwise. You'll be trying to roll above some target number that I give you, based on the difficulty of what you're trying to do.

In action-type scenes when it matters who's going first, everybody rolls a d20 for initiative. Ordinarily, there aren't any special modifiers to this roll. People get to take actions starting from the highest roll and working down.
Everybody has two hit points. Most attacks (and other hazards) do one damage each, but some - like getting hit by a car or a manticore or a land mine - do two. When you lose both, you're incapacitated. You might be unconscious, or paralyzed, or stuck under some debris, depending on the situation. If you're in combat, and somebody make a successful attack on you when you're incapacitated, they'll kill you - but other hazards, like fires or artillery shells in your general vicinity, won't hurt you. If you're not in combat, though, those other hazards are still hazardous.

Rolled against the thug. I forget how many hit points I have, and how many he has. But I definitely hit him this time. If not... man, I suck.

Awright it's Dinnsdale!

Yes. That is a very good hit.
Ed, why don't you roll another staying-alive check, and then I'll write up the results. Take a +1 bonus.

Ouch.
I blame the Prime Number Killer for using up those good rolls.

Also, I shall have to remember that children dying violently is not my favorite thing to write about.

Thanks for the kind offer, but not on your life.

Strong words, man. Rest assured there'll be a time when you need me to give a graphic description of something horrific. Either that or I'll just start giving it in the middle of a conversation, like how I always bring up my sunburn.

Oooof. Nice knowing you, kid. For the small amount of time you were around.
