In my country we have a game called Top Trumps. Everyone has a stack of cards with a number of statistics written on. One person picks a statistic, person with the highest statistic wins the round. Capiche?


The way we play Ultimate Top Trumps is thus:

1) I pick a category.
2) You all pick cards.
3) I reveal the category.
4) You tell me why you win.

Your card can be anything, my category can be anything.

don't really need an explanation of what the simpsons are.

It said on the Wiki that I needed stats, so I Googled it but then got too lazy to actually find real stats so I copied and pasted that instead.

I'm not sure I entirely understand this.

If I understand it right, it'd work something like this:

Amerika picks the category "Chewy." We don't know this.

The great unwashed submit a bunch of things:

Nuclear weapons
William Faulkner
Mandarin Oranges
A Fairy Princess
Existentialism

And then we have to try and convince him that whichever we submitted is the chewiest of the bunch. So the Mandarin Oranges guy says, "hey, mine's the only thing you actually eat," and whoever submitted William Faulkner says "William Faulkner is made of uncooked meat! That's pretty chewy right there." and Existentialism says "Hey, you know what's tough to swallow and/or hard to digest? Existentialism, that's what." And everybody has a good laugh and Amerika chooses a victor.

Ooooh. I'm sticking with my card, then.
