Well lets be honest here, I don't have any faith in humanity. Or if I do, it is faith that it is broken, messed up, horrific and all around crap. So lets give that to our new overlords. Best case scenario, they flee with their sanity intact. Worst case? They kill us all.
I see no downsides.
