Oh, I did look up male faerie names. I'm terrible with names.
And I did a Google search for "Alicia and " and checked the auto-complete. Towards the bottom there was "Alicia and Mitchell" so that's how I got his name.

I needed a name of someone who might not be entirely evil (but probably is).

I am doing a lot of "did they have X in the 30's" searches.
Apparently, the US Army is just discontinuing the use of bayonets this year.

Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

Re: Things I've researched for writing
Trying to look up Celtic/Irish goddesses but not finding reliable/ fitting info so I might just make it up or be vague.
Also, not really research, but this kind of helps me: http://writeordie.drwicked.com/
Just tried it for the first time today. It works pretty well even though I don't mind the 'annoying' sound that they play when you stop writing.

Thanks for the suggestion!
I'll check her out when I get a little more time-- the association with water would definitely be a good thing for me.

I actually own a dictionary of basic Celtic mythology. Was super-cheap and on clearance, so I figure, why not buy it? I suspect it it not very good or something (I haven't read it because I illiterate).

Re: Things I've researched for writing
It's unfortunate there's not a whole lot still known about Celtic mythology. A lot of it was repressed when Christianity took over and most Celtic Gods have been demoted to ancient kings the such. King Arthur and King Leer probably being the two most famous examples of that. Really if you want anything at all comprehensive, your best bet is Irish mythology, but even that's got a few holes in it.

So, does anyone know an alarming lot about Christian mythology? I need some fun facts about James the Less (/the Just).

Oh damn. I've been calling him Jacques. Probably because he's referred to as Jakobus in Dutch.
I'll call him Jim in the translation.
