You could always find out what crime they committed to be sent to Australia

They weren't first generation. They were at least second. So I guess unless you're asking what crime they committed in previous lives to have their karma so bad they were reborn in Australia there is no way to tell.

It is always embarassing to be part of a family that has no penal deportation heritage. My family immigrated here of there own free will. On both sides. One of the guys was Captain Cook's first mate. It is all far too legitimate, I feel that I am looked down upon by the real criminal descendants

Fun fact: Your ancestors' parents are still your ancestors!

Quick! Throw a boomerang at somebody!
Police said they spent some time working out if they could charge the man with being armed with a weapon, as technically he was armed with part of a fish.

I don't have to go too far back to trace my criminal heritage. And oh boy is it extensive.

My family was married into some soviet generals, so ya know. We were *above the law*

Oh and also the whole "gippo" thing.

My ancestors might not have been convicted felons (I always maintain they just got away with it), but my grandfather is a pure con artist. I'm always proud of our little deviancies.

It's a culture of crime, that's what it is!

We must lock up this culture and throw away the key! Prison works, it works by sentencing people to death by time

You're all making it far too easy to not only leave the island prison but enter civilization again.
