There's a lot to unpack about this comic. I think David Graeber's interview on "Bullshit Jobs" is a good primer for this phenomenon-- it's a lot more common than you might think!

People are interested in social science in different ways, and I'm glad to see this comic here. It's clear that some of us like the idea of becoming data scientists, while others are more interested in learning how to build a business or make goodsgeometry dash lite.
