Seriously, fighting in a minefield would be much more interesting. What if they detonated five seconds after you ran over them? Makes the shooting thing really a matter of skill.

Compared to laser tag or super-soaker it is way more fun. I did get bruised pretty severely but I used to go skating weekly and routinely bust up my knees so I didn't mind (I'm a really awful skater, it's like I'm not really Canadian). I just think... Wouldn't it be more fun to hit people with rocks?

Speaking of throwing things at people, someone threw an egg at me whilst they were being driven past, as I walked back home today. They missed, and I had no idea until I saw the egg land near my feet in the sand. I decided to ignore it and just keep walking. A short time later I saw the same car drive back and pick up the egg again, and then drive off. I kinda wanted to mention that today, and this was the only thread that allowed me to segue nicely into that tangent.

Huh. That's why I hated walking home from high school, students with cars would often heckle my brother and I. I hope they get in car accidents.

Also, casings wouldn't really work as an analogy. I'd actually have to dig the bullets out of the scenery/corpse for it to be similar to the egg situation.

Unless I was refilling the casings. That might work...
