I'll be honest, I don't know that it was a stone. I woke up in the middle of the night rolling in my bed, and after what seemed like a very long time, I realised that I was in what was probably the worst pain of my life. Details of this are all very weird and foggy. Then I went to the bathroom and spent a similarly long time trying to piss while trying to bear with this stabbing feeling in my groin. If I had been fully awake it probably would have been worse, but as it was it took me a very long time to even recognise it as pain.
